On June 4, the 2017 Astana World Expo started its trial operation. Just within three and a half hours, the China Pavilion received 1,268 visitors, with still many visitors waiting to enter the venue nearing the closing hour.

In the China Pavilion, they exhibited the speech of Chinese President Xi Jinping on the 2015 Paris Climate Change Conference and a feature film about the Belt and Road Initiative, demonstrating China's concept of energy exploitation and multiple specimen projects for the Belt and Road construction.

"The Pavilion shows the country's most advanced technologies in future energy, it's certainly worth a visit" said Nurlan, a Kazakh expert in nuclear energy.

In addition, the crowds showed their enthusiasm to get on the simulative high speed rail cabin, take pictures in front of the artificial sun, and enjoy in the theatre of future energy.

China is one of the first countries that confirmed their attendance to the Expo, the first to start construction, the first to complete it, and also the first to participate in the trial operation.

Zhoshybayev, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, government representative of Astana Expo expressed his gratitude to China's support and said that the China Pavilion will be one of the most fantastic ones on the Expo.

The Astana Expo will formally open on June 10. All the preparations for the China Pavilion are organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
