Hubei Day held in China Pavilion

On June 26, Hubei celebrated its provincial day in China Pavilion of the 2017 Astana Expo.

At the opening ceremony, Wang Rui, executive director of China Pavilion said that there would be 23 provincial and municipal days or weeks held in China Pavilion, the most in China's history in terms of attending World Expos overseas.

Zhang Hanhui, Chinese ambassador to Kazakhstan addresses the ceremony.

"Hubei is the cradle of China's modern industries," said Zhang Hanhui, Chinese ambassador to Kazakhstan, during the ceremony, "the relationship between China and Kazakhstan will create a favorable environment for cooperation between the enterprises of the two countries."

Nurpeisov, president of Astana's city council spoke highly of the relationship between the two countries, and he said he hoped that Hubei Day could promote more bilateral exchanges in trade and culture.

Director of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Hubei Sub-council Zhou Caijuan said the Hubei Day would demonstrate the energy development achievements of Hubei, the cooperation of the Road and Belt, and the ecological, tourism and cultural resources of Hubei. She welcomed the audience and entrepreneurs to travel and invest in Hubei.

During the Expo, the Promotion of International Trade, Hubei Sub-council actively promoted the economic and trade activities by holding fairs, while helping companies in Hubei create more business opportunities. For example, Kaidi, a new energy company, through the fair, successfully marketed its bio-electrogenesis and bio-refinery projects and brought in new partners.
